Each bow is made to have a soft, full and slightly relaxed silhouette rather than the stiff, perfectly symmetrical appearance of a conventional bow. The velvet catches the light beautifully, creating depth and movement as it hangs.

Please note: Velvet naturally changes in appearance as the pile moves and as light falls across it. This is part of what gives velvet its richness and character. Colors may also vary slightly between screens. If your project is especially color-sensitive, please order a sample when available.

Attaching your bow: For complete versatility, we include a removable D ring as well as a zip tie.

We recommend attaching your bow with a zip tie and removing the D ring so as not to scratch doors, woodwork, and furniture. We do not recommend attaching with ribbon, as bows fit best when they do not "hang down". A zip tie allows the attachment mechanics to be entirely hidden. Please reach out to us with any questions on attaching your bow and we will be happy assist you. Designed to be used indoors or on a covered porch.

We recommend using a Scotchgard spray (very light mist not a direct spray for velvet) if you plan to use it outside to help with fading. We do recommend using indoors. Do not steam or spray with water. Store lying flat. Dry clean only.

If using outdoors, please keep out of elements and direct sunlight as velvet is prone to fading. Velvet can fade even in indirect sunlight so please keep in mind when purchasing.
