D. Stevens 4" Faux Wool Shelton Plaid Wired Ribbon

A beautifully textured plaid with the look and warmth of wool, this D. Stevens Shelton Plaid ribbon combines deep evergreen, softened red, cream, and touches of navy for a wonderfully layered, heritage feel. The faux wool finish gives it a substantial woven appearance that feels especially at home with evergreens, magnolia, velvet, tartan, and natural holiday greenery.

At 4 inches wide, it makes a beautiful statement on wreaths, garlands, oversized bows, Christmas trees, mantel arrangements, and exterior holiday decor. The wired edges help the ribbon hold its shape, making it easy to create generous loops, soft folds, and beautifully structured bows.
It has the feeling of an English country house at Christmas: warm, collected, slightly nostalgic, and wonderfully unfussy.

Why We Chose It

This plaid has that beautifully collected quality we’re always looking for. The evergreen ground keeps it rich and grounded, while the softened red, cream, and navy give it just enough traditional Christmas color without feeling overly bright or predictable. The faux wool texture is especially lovely because it gives the ribbon the warmth and character of a textile you might find in an old country house.

How We’d Style It

We’d use this generously on fresh cedar or mixed evergreen wreaths, woven loosely through garland, or tied into an oversized bow with long relaxed tails. It would be beautiful layered with deep green or burgundy velvet, magnolia leaves, brass bells, pinecones, or simple natural greenery. We also love it on a Christmas tree where the wide plaid can be tucked deeply into the branches rather than sitting too perfectly on the surface.
